Hi everyone! We just got back from Enlightening 2007 and we had an absolute blast. It was really awesome getting to meet so many people! This was a family convention as well so there were really awesome kids running around everywhere.
We also got to meet the boys from Mugglecast and we appeared on their live podcast for a little bit! The Premiere Night concert was pretty insane… it was in an auditorium that pretty much showed up the biggest venue Nina and I have ever performed in (and that was Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center back when we were in high school choir together). The fans were great and we officially started selling our new CD, ‘Toilet Humor’.
So we wanted to thank all of you guys who came out to see us and made the past few days really freaking awesome. You rock!! And we can’t forget to mention The Hungarian Horntails, DJ Luna Lovegood, and The Cedric Diggorys for coming to play as well. You guys are awesome!!
Also, there was a live Pottercast in Bridgewater, NJ last night and we went! It was kind of a surprise since we didn’t really know what we were going to do until right before it started. We ended up playing four songs and it was SO much fun!! We love Melissa, Sue, and John. And Bre is kind of amazing… I may have tackled her when she came in. So keep an eye out for both of those podcast episodes!
Here’s a reminder that we’re playing a show today in Princeton, NJ at the Borders at 601 Nassau Park at 2pm! It was more recently planned so we hope some of you guys can come out to see it!

As soon as I finished our CD, I updated a whole lot of stuff on our website! First, you’ll probably notice that we have a new layout. Yay! I had to move a few things around. The old Film page can now be found at the bottom of the About page. I added information about our new CD, Toilet Humor, to the Music page. I’m planning on uploading some new music to that page soon as well! Just a reminder, you can buy a copy of our new CD on our MySpace profile as well!
Since our Photos page was getting a little long, I created new pages for each album and linked them to that page. I also added two new albums… one from Phoenix Rising and the other from our concert at Voices and Visions.
The new Site page is where you can find the archives for all of the different posts that fall off the homepage. We have archives for blogs, news, videos, updates, and interviews. Yay! I also added a few new submissions to the Fans page. The Lyrics page now contains the updated lyrics from our new CD, as well as lyrics to the newer songs.
Man, I’ve been busy. I’m pretty sure that’s all for now, but I probably forgot something. Just check out the website and you’ll find new things! Yay!
New Song, New CD… Yay!!

Well, this hasn’t happened in a long time. We just posted one of our new songs, “The Boy Who Lived” on our MySpace profile! It was written by our friend Mike “Hagrid” Stein and some of you may recognize it from our Port-A-Potty EP, except we completely redid it and we’re singing it now instead of Mike. It’s the first of many new recordings that we’re working on for our new CD, Toilet Humor!
Speaking of which, Toilet Humor is really close to being finished. Not because it’s physically almost done, but because if we don’t crack down and finish it by the end of next week, we are in big trouble. But it will get done and it will be awesome! The amazing, wonderful, and talented Dani from The Potter Journal is doing the album artwork for us and here is the finished cover! Thanks, all of you guys who submitted graffiti ideas! We had a lot of fun picking our favorites.
A bunch of the songs are redone from our old CD and there are a handful of new ones as well! We really think you’ll like the new versions of our old songs… we’re adding a few twists and there may even be some guest appearances (if those guests would send me their tracks soon… hint). Oh yeah, and the CD is now available for preorder! We realized that with all of our summer shows, we don’t want to run out of copies and not be able to sell them online. So if you know you want one, head over to our MySpace profile and you’ll find the PayPal buttons! Toilet Humor is $13 if you live in the US and $15 if you live in Canada or anywhere else outside the US.
And I think I made it so you can attach a note with additional instructions so if you want an autographed love letter or something with your CD, let us know when you order and tell us who you want it written to. If the notes on PayPal don’t work, just MySpace message us the same stuff and we’ll hook it up with your order.
As soon as we get the CD’s in the mail (and it should be a few weeks) we will ship yours out! If you order closer to the week of crazy in July, we might end up having to wait until August to ship those. So you should preorder. Yes.
