I’m not a fan of the whole ranking thing and they obviously know almost nothing about wizard rock, but it’s nice of them to put us on the list. Here are my thoughts on the subject:

Two years ago, on Nov 27, 2005 we were walking to the parking lot from our high school and decided to start a band called The Moaning Myrtles. Here’s a video I made listing all of the shows we’ve played since then. We’ve changed a lot in two years and we’ve done some pretty amazing things because of this band.

Thank you for all of the love and support! We love you guys so much. We couldn’t have done all this without you. Harry Potter fans are just the most amazing people ever and we can’t thank you enough. Here’s to many more years of wizard rocking!

So this year, I’m playing my Lauren without Nina solo Myrtles set at the PA Yule Ball! Nina’s going to be playing Queenie in The Wild Party at her college that night. Well, here’s the big announcement!! We’ll be joining a ridiculous amount of bands for a 12 hour wizard rock concert at Terminus next summer. You guys seriously won’t want to miss this.

Since the website that had been hosting our gallery went down recently, I joined Flickr and recoded the entire gallery tonight. We’re still missing a bunch of photos because a lot of them were on my home computer and I’m stuck at school, but they’ll be up eventually. In the meantime, if you guys took any pictures of us at our shows and you want to let us put them in our gallery, email links to the photos to moaningmyrtles@yahoo.com and we’ll love you forever! The gallery is also up to date and including photos from the crazy HP summer and all of our trips!
